knitonthenet :: new online mag

Welcome to the first issue of knitonthenet.com, the new quarterly online knitting magazine, featuring beautiful, exclusive, free patterns, articles, news, reviews, textile art and much more.

One of our magazine's unique features is that although it is a quarterly publication, there will be updates on a regular basis. If you have any news items you want featured, contact us. There will be additional patterns added throughout the quarter, so do keep coming back.

You can register with us, and whenever the magazine is updated or the next issue comes out, we will email you and let you know. We have other added bonuses planned for registered readers in forthcoming issues.

Do try out our online chart designer that allows you create your own knitting graph paper. You can even print out A3 size charts. It is very simple to use and produces high quality results.

We take great pleasure in supporting the Knit a River/WaterAid campaign this issue. To join the campaign all you have to do is knit a 15cm blue square. Read more about the campaign in our Features pages.

If you are in Liverpool in the UK on Tuesday, 21st November, come and join us at the Unity Theatre for a Knit a River Knit-in. (See our News page for further details).

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the designers, knitters, photographers and authors who contributed so much towards the success of this issue. And we would like to thank you, the reader, for joining us in the handcraft revolution.
