What a Great job!
Margaret Juntwait, current announcer for the Met Sat Afternoon broadcasts, will be the On air talent for the recently announced new Met channel at Sirius.
There is a Farewell Party onair going on right now at WNYC.ORG (or on the radio in NYC area). See link below to note from Ms. Juntwait on WNYC website.
A Goodbye – Wednesday, September 20, 2006
After fifteen years on WNYC, Margaret Juntwait is leaving us to be the full-time voice of the Metropolitan Opera. Tonight, Margaret writes a personal note to her listeners, on this, her last broadcast as the host of weekday “Evening Music.”
Sounds like a dream job!
WOOHOO good luck Ms. Juntwait – will be looking forward to hearing this new venture.
