ok so have i been living under a rock!  i am transfixed … Act III has just begun and i have not MOVED since i tuned in (unfortunately i missed the first half hour of Act I… and didnt start rec#$ding until Act II ).

Of course i was overwhelmed by Kubelik’s Die Meistersinger Von Nürnberg  when i also stumbled across that on a European radio station webcast some years ago – and also came in late – but only right after the overture of Act One so i have most of it .  And it became a favorite ipod item since even surpassing my favorite MET with James Morris and Heppner and Mattila ;o 

Now i see that there is also a Kubelik LOHENGRIN 

oh dear, well I guess i will have to head here and buy.
