well, i am still pinching myself – and it feels as if its a dream come true.  i saw the apartment on wednesday and gave the deposit check… as soon as i have the lease it will be official.    i have been making lists all evening in a little notebook – all the things i need to do, what will go into each room, the things i need to buy (furniture, appliances, etc), all the address changes that need to be done, colors schemes to figure out for decorating…. oi vey, but so much fun!!   thank goodness i have been frugal for quite a while and so can afford to do some things.   and the rent is a bit lower than what i am currently paying (well, pretty much any rent is outside of my current neighborhood, park slope, brooklyn).

packing starts saturday – its going to be a long month – but just think one month from today i will be settled in !!!
oh dear oh dear oh dear.   time to pinch again (at this rate im going to be quite black and blue).
